Messér, the new cabinet signed by Medulum and designed by Accardi Buccheri, is a sophisticated piece of furniture inspired by the majesty and history of Venice.
The project draws inspiration from the marble decorations of the portals of Venetian palaces and churches, where engraved geometric patterns seem to merge in a play of perfect interlocking forms.
This is how a decorative motif of classical inspiration is transformed into an integrated handle system, lending the piece a unique character through the fusion of the sculptural element into the body of the furniture.
The use of solid wood for the handles — available in walnut or oak — defines a piece with a strong plastic impact.
Messér is not merely a piece of furniture, but a work of art to be experienced daily, capable of bringing the timeless charm of Venetian culture into contemporary spaces.

Il progetto prende spunto dai decori marmorei dei portali dei palazzi e delle chiese veneziane, dove le geometrie incise sembrano fondersi in un gioco di incastri perfetti.
È così che un motivo decorativo d’ispirazione classica si trasforma in un sistema di maniglie integrato, conferendo all’oggetto un carattere unico attraverso la fusione dell’elemento scultoreo nel corpo dell’arredo.
L’uso del legno massello per le maniglie — disponibile in noce o rovere — definisce un pezzo dal forte impatto plastico.
Messér non è solo un mobile, ma un oggetto d’arte da vivere quotidianamente, capace di portare negli spazi contemporanei il fascino eterno della cultura veneziana.
